Hosea 3:5

3:5 Afterward, the Israelites will turn and seek the Lord their God and their Davidic king. ¹  Then they will submit to the Lord in fear and receive his blessings ²  in the future. ³ 

Hosea 7:7

7:7 All of them are blazing like an oven;

they devour their rulers.

All of their kings fall –

and none of them call on me!

Hosea 8:10

8:10 Even though they have hired lovers among the nations, ⁴ 

I will soon gather them together for judgment. ⁵ 

Then ⁶  they will begin to waste away

under the oppression of a mighty king. ⁷ 

Hosea 10:6

10:6 Even the calf idol ⁸  will be carried to Assyria,

as tribute for the great king. ⁹ 

Ephraim will be disgraced;

Israel will be put to shame because ¹⁰  of its wooden idol. ¹¹
